STO was created as an alternative for furniture made of plastic and wood-based materials. Each stool and table is made of a top and three legs with wedges. The family consists of tabletops in three sizes and legs in three heights. These elements may be freely composed, creating pieces of furniture in different sizes ranging from a high bar stool to a low and wide coffee table. The number of potential variations is magnified by the finish of the upper surface of the tabletop which is available in eleven colors. A traditional way of fixing legs, taken from folk joinery, allows for self-assembly and flat-packing for transportation and storage.
